Tinubu travels to France to continue three-week annual leave
PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu has travelled to France as he continues his three-week annual leave after spending the first part of his vacation in London, United Kingdom.
Tinubu arrived in France and was received by Nigeria’s Ambassador to the country, Emmanuel Ayodele Oke. The president began his annual leave on August 30 and is expected to return to Nigeria at the end of the vacation.
Presidential spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, had described the leave as a ‘working vacation,’ saying Tinubu would spend time in Europe.
Onanuga had earlier said London would be the president’s first destination after leaving Abuja. He also said Tinubu would return to Nigeria after the vacation to join preparations for the January 2027 election.
