Tinubu begins three-week vacation in Europe

PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu has commenced his annual three-week vacation, with the president leaving Abuja for Europe on Sunday.

Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this in a statement issued on Sunday.

According to Onanuga, Tinubu’s first destination will be London, United Kingdom, as he begins the working vacation.

The presidential aide did not disclose details of the president’s itinerary or the specific activities scheduled for the trip.

Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria at the end of the vacation and resume official engagements, including preparations for the January 2027 elections.

The trip comes as political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections intensify, with parties and political actors stepping up mobilisation across the country.
