THE West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has published the official dates for the first series of the 2026 computer-based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (CB-WASSCE) for private candidates.

The announcement was made through WAEC’s verified X (formerly Twitter) account, where the council shared details of the examination timetable, including subjects, dates and time schedules, to guide candidates in their preparations.

In the post, WAEC directed candidates to its website for the full timetable and wished participants success in the forthcoming examination. The council said the information was provided to help private candidates plan adequately ahead of the test.
