PZ Cussons appoints Oghenekevwe Ogefere as company secretary
PZ CUSSONS Nigeria Plc has appointed Oghenekevwe Ogefere as its new company secretary, effective July 1, 2026.
The company disclosed the appointment in a notification to the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), shareholders and the investing public, stating that its board of directors approved the appointment at a meeting held on June 30, 2026. The appointment follows the expiration of the engagement of Alsec Nominees Limited as the company’s secretary.
In a statement signed by Chief Executive Officer of PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc, Oghale Elueni, the company thanked Alsec Nominees Limited for its dedicated service, professionalism and contributions during its tenure, wishing the firm success in its future endeavours.

Ms Ogefere currently serves as the company’s head of legal and has more than 13 years of experience in legal practice, corporate governance, regulatory affairs, company secretarial practice and compliance.
Before joining PZ Cussons Nigeria, she was senior regulatory affairs and compliance manager as well as data protection officer at Nigerian Breweries Plc.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from University of Benin and is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria.
