International Breweries misses NGX filing deadline, cites audit delays
INTERNATIONL Breweries Plc has announced a delay in the filing of its audited financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2025, citing unforeseen challenges in completing its audit process.
In a notice signed by company secretary, Temitope Oluwatosinto, to shareholders and the investing public on Wednesday, the brewer said it was unable to meet the March 31, 2026 deadline stipulated under the rules of Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX).
The company attributed the delay to issues encountered by its external auditors, noting that the audit is still ongoing. It added that it is working closely with the auditors to ensure the financial statements are completed in line with regulatory standards and best practices.
