AIICO Insurance declares final dividend for 2025, sets AGM for June

AIICO Insurance Plc has announced a final dividend for the financial year ended December 31, 2025, alongside details for its upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The announcement, which was signed by Company Secretary, Mr Donald Kanu, was released on Thursday. The company proposed a final dividend of 12 kobo per ordinary share, subject to applicable withholding tax and regulatory approval. Shareholders whose names appear in the register of members as of May 27, 2026, will qualify for the payout. Dividends will be paid electronically on June 5, 2026, to shareholders who have completed the e-dividend registration and provided bank mandate details.

There is no bonus share issue for the period. The register of shareholders will be closed from May 28 to June 4, 2026, inclusive. Shareholders yet to complete their e-dividend registration are encouraged to download the E-Dividend Mandate Activation Form from the registrar’s website and submit it to the Registrar or their respective banks.

Shareholders with unclaimed dividend warrants or share certificates are also advised to complete the e-dividend registration or contact the registrar.

The AGM is scheduled for June 5, 2026, in Lagos, Nigeria. Coronation Registrars Limited will serve as the company’s registrar.
